A fondness for all creatures great and small and a part-time job with a small town veterinarian in high school initially drew me to the field of veterinary medicine, but the fascinating science and problem solving kept me there. I made Northern Ontario my home after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1997. Even now, each day brings new learning opportunities and so much variety. To be a doctor with several species and to be exposed to all areas of medicine really is something special.
Over the years, I have developed a strong appreciation of the human-animal bond. It is a wonderful privilege to care for pets (and their families) through all life stages and to be able to provide peace and comfort in the end of life care.
It is a pleasure to return to the Baxter Animal Hospital after a 10-year absence. I had forgotten how much of a family the clients and staff really are here. It is a pleasure to work with your pets as part of the Baxter team.
